AIIA Victoria is planning Study Tours to India and Sri Lanka in early 2025.
Dates are scheduled to allow participation in either, or both, Study Tours.
The Study Tour(s) offer a deep dive into the political, economic, and cultural landscapes of two of South Asia's most dynamic countries. Participants will engage in high-level meetings with government officials, policy experts, and business leaders to discuss pressing issues and emerging opportunities in the region. From New Delhi to Galle, experience firsthand the vibrant cultures, rich histories, and diverse communities shaping the future of India and Sri Lanka.
We are calling for Expressions of Interest, from members of any AIIA Branch.

India
Dates: Wednesday 26 February – Thursday 6 March 2025
Itinerary: 4 days New Delhi; 1 day Agra (Taj Mahal); 1 day Fatehpur Sikri; 3 days Mumbai.
Meetings/visits: Government departments; Think Tanks; Universities; Civil Society.
Approx cost: AUD 7,100 per person (excluding flights, insurance).

Sri Lanka
Dates: Thursday 6 March – Sunday 16 March 2025
Itinerary: 1 day Colombo; 2 days Galle; 1 day Colombo; 2 days Habarana; 1 day Colombo.
Meetings/visits: Australian High Commission; Government departments; Think Tanks; Universities; Civil Society; UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Approx cost: Single Occupancy: AUD 4,700 per person (excluding flights, insurance). Double occupancy: $3,670 per person (excluding flights, insurance).
