Australia's relationship with Ghana is long and strong; Australia was one of the first countries in the world to recognise Ghana's independence in 1957.
The Australian High Commission in Accra is accredited in total to nine countries in West Africa. This includes 120 million people in Ghana, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
AIIA Victoria invites you to join us in-person with the High Commissioner of Australia to Ghana, H.E. Ms Berenice Owen-Jones for an open discussion on the opportunities and challenges in the region. The event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
