AIIA Victoria in collaboration with the Westminster Bridge Network (WBN) will host an afternoon tea discussion with Catherine West MP, British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Indo-Pacific) and Dame Sarah MacIntosh DCMG, British High Commissioner to Australia and Head of the UK's Oceania Network.

This event will be centred on Women in Leadership with the discussion moderated by AIIA VIC and WBN member, Erin French, followed by a Q&A session.

AIIA VIC and WBN invite Young Professional and Student members of the respective organisations to join us for this insightful event.

Learn about lived experiences of leadership including:

· How international politics has changed for women in leadership

· The future of women's roles in politics and leadership globally

· Personal experiences as women in leadership roles

· Advice on career development and leadership skills

As international governance enters an era of instability, it has never been more important to highlight the experiences and expertise of women in leadership roles. We are delighted to welcome AIIA VIC and WBN members to learn from our speakers about how their lives and careers have been shaped.

The Women in Leadership event will be held under Chatham House Rule, where you will gain a deeper understanding of what a career in international affairs entails and network with like-minded peers.

This event is exclusive to AIIA VIC Young Professionals/Student and Westminster Bridge Network members only. Become a member of one (or both!) organisations to secure your place.
