Dr Federica Caso is a lecturer in International Relations at La Trobe University. Previously she was a sessional lecturer in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Queensland. She has received qualifications from London Metropolitan University, Newcastle University and The University of Leeds, receiving her PhD from The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on settler colonial structures and power, gender and racial diversity and inclusion in the military and peacebuilding, and visual representations of conflict and post-conflict. Her book "Settler Military Politics: Militarisation and the Aesthetics of War Commemoration" will be published next year by Edinburgh University Press.
