As a career diplomat, Tanya has lived and worked in the UK, India, Ghana and Australia covering a range of issues including digital technology, trade policy, economic development and public affairs.

Jeannie is an affiliate researcher with the Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society, as well as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law. She is also a member of the Commonwealth Government’s temporary AI expert group.
