HE Mr Allaster Cox
High Commissioner to SingaporeHE Mr Allaster Cox is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and currently Australia’s High Commissioner to Singapore. Prior to his current role, Mr Cox was the First Assistant Secretary, in the office of Southeast Asia Strategy and Development Division. He has also previously served overseas as Ambassador to Vietnam, High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam and as Deputy Head of Mission in Indonesia and Malaysia.
John Richardson
Vice President at AIIA VictoriaJohn Richardson is Vice President of AIIA Victoria and was previously a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. His career focussed on Australia’s economic relationship with north-east Asia; his overseas postings included to Thailand, Germany and Argentina and he was Ambassador to Brazil before his retirement in 2018.
