HE Ms Alicia Moral Revilla is the Ambassador of Spain in Australia (since October 2020); she is also accredited to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tuvalu and Nauru. She has a Bachelor of Laws, a Master’s degree in Defence Policy and International Security and has completed an Advanced Command and Staff Course with the Spanish Armed Forces; she joined the Spanish Diplomatic Service in 1991. She has held positions in diplomatic representations in Tanzania, Indonesia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Paris (OCDE), and has served as the Ambassador of Spain in Zimbabwe, also accredited to Zambia and Malawi. She has also held a range of positions in Madrid for the Ministry of External Affairs, European Union and Cooperation including Deputy Director-General of the Diplomatic School of Spain, Deputy Director-General of Foreign Policy and Security Policy, Ambassador for Cyber Security and President of the Admissions Board of the Spanish Diplomatic Service (2019-2020).
